The Saint Raphael Retreat Center is located southwest of downtown Dallas, one block off the busy Interstate 35 in North Oak Cliff.

To access Madison Avenue:

Northbound I35E FWY – take Exit 425B 12th St/Beckley Ave, this takes you directly to 12^th St. you should pass one stop light (cross Zang) and turn left on Madison Ave.

Southbound I35 FWY – take Exit 426, head right on the ramp toward 12th St./Marsalis, drive two blocks, then turn right onto S Madison Ave

We are located in beautiful Oak Cliff, five miles from downtown, ten miles from the Love Field Airport and twenty-seven miles from the DFW International Airport. Bedecked with rolling hills, lush landscapes and an array of significantly historic architecture, Oak Cliff– specifically the northern quadrant– is fast becoming one of Dallas’ most popular destinations for visitors and locals alike. Located directly southwest of downtown, this vibrant neighborhood offers everything from art, culture and entertainment to indie restaurants, eclectic shops and a host of spectacular annual events. Coming to our area in 2025…

The Southern Gate Park is currently under construction by the Dallas Zoo in Oak Cliff, over Interstate 35 between Marsalis and Ewing avenues. Phase One of the $172 million, five-acre deck park is slated to open in late 2023, stretching from Ewing Avenue to Lancaster Avenue. Phase two will lengthen the park southward to Marsalis Avenue. The Dallas Zoo is planning its own 7-acre adjacent park that would ultimately create a sprawling, 12-acre signature attraction for the city of Dallas.
